The Broncos wrapped up non-conference action winning their fifth and sixth straight games at Lawson Ice Arena after a sweep of Rensselaer, 8-4 and 6-2.
In the series opener, Western Michigan jumped out to an early 2-0 lead on goals by Hugh McGing and Wade Allison in the first period.
