KALAMAZOO, Mich. – The Western Michigan hockey team completed the weekend sweep of Omaha after a 5-2 win at Lawson Ice Arena on Saturday night.
Wade Allison tallied two goals for the 14th-ranked Broncos (8-4-1, 5-1-0-0 NCHC), who sit atop of the National Collegiate Hockey Conference standings after six conference games. Hugh McGing and Luke Bafia each had two assists on the night, while Colt Conrad had a goal and an assist and Jade McMullen tallied a goal. Sophomore goalie Ben Blacker made 27 saves on the night to earn his seventh win of the season.
