KALAMAZOO, Mich. – After a home sweep of No. 10 North Dakota, the Western Michigan hockey team spends its fourth straight week as the No. 3 ranked team in the nation, according to the latest USA Today/USA Hockey Magazine Poll released on Monday.
The Broncos (16-5-0, 8-4-0 NCHC) also moved up to third in the DCU/US College Hockey Online Poll and earning a program-best eight first place votes.
WMU currently sits tied for second place in the National Collegiate Hockey Conference standings with 24 points, just three back on conference leader's Denver. Western Michigan heads on the road to take on No.
