KALAMAZOO, Mich. – The Western Michigan hockey team remained among the top teams in the national polls, which were released this afternoon.
The Broncos checked in at No. 2 in both the USCHO and USA Hockey polls. WMU received six first-place votes in the USCHO rankings, while earning four in the USA Hockey poll.
Boston University was the top team in both sets of rankings, with Michigan State, Michigan and Denver earning the three, four and five spots, respectively, in the USCHO poll. The USA Hockey rankings had the same top five, but Michigan and Michigan State swapped places.
