Hockey Names Todd Krygier Assistant Coach

KALAMAZOO – The Western Michigan hockey program and head coach Andy Murray have announced the hiring of Todd Krygier to the position of assistant coach on Thursday.

Krygier comes to Lawson Ice Arena with a wealth of hockey knowledge at all levels. Most recently he was the head coach of the Muskegon Lumberjacks of the United States Hockey League, the premiere junior hockey league in the United States. With the Lumberjacks he racked up 92 wins in three seasons, including a trip to the USHL Finals during the 2014-15 season. Current Broncos Frederik Tiffels, Griffen Molino, Matheson Iacopelli and Corey Schueneman all played under Krygier in Muskegon.
