KALAMAZOO, Mich. – The Western Michigan hockey team has named its captains for the upcoming 2017-18 season.
Junior defenseman Scott Moldenhauer will be the team's lone captain. Fellow juniors Frederik Tiffels, Aidan Muir and Neal Goff will be all be assistant captains during their senior campaigns.
"Scott is one of our hardest workers both on and off the ice," said head coach Andy Murray. "This entire group leads by example. They are some of our best student-athletes and some of our best conditioned athletes on the team.
