KALAMAZOO, Mich. – The Western Michigan hockey team moved up in both the USCHO.com and USA Today/USA Hockey Magazine polls, coming in at 10 in USCHO and eight in USA Today/USA Hockey's rankings.
The Broncos moved up one spot each in both polls after splitting with No. 18 Colgate over the weekend. WMU (9-5-1, 4-1-0-0 NCHC) took the Friday night game against the Raiders, 5-3, while CU took Saturday's contest 5-1. This is the second-straight week in the Top 10 for Western Michigan in the USA Today/USA Hockey Magazine poll, while the first time in the USCHO.
