Western Michigan will travel to Denver for a weekend series against the Pioneers, who are currently ranked fourth in the country. The Broncos are coming off of a series split with Omaha and head into the series ranked No. 20.
The Pioneers have the advantage against the Broncos as they lead the all-time series 17-9-1. On the road against Denver, the Broncos have not been their best, compiling a 10-1-1 record on the Pioneer’s ice.
However, the Broncos do have some momentum as they have been on a hot streak as of late, receiving points in six of their last seven games.
