KALAMAZOO, Mich. -- Western Michigan returns to the ice on short rest, taking on Notre Dame in a home-and-home series. The two teams will open play on Friday at Compton Family Ice Arena before concluding the series at Lawson Arena at 6 PM on Saturday.

The Broncos dominated the Kwik Trip Holiday Face-Off, earning wins over No. 12 Boston College and No. 2 Wisconsin. The Broncos beat the Badgers 4-1 in the championship game.
Grant Slukynsky paced the team with three points on one goal and two assists, while Zaccharya Wisdom, Zach Nehring and William Whitelaw added tallies of their own.
