ANN ARBOR, Mich. – The Western Michigan hockey team was upended 4-0 at Michigan on Thursday night at Yost Ice Arena. The two teams will meet again tomorrow night at 7 PM at Lawson Arena.
FIRST PERIOD
Michigan scored a little under two minutes into the game to take an early lead, but WMU started to settle in from there. The Broncos would get the next five shots, including a great look from Zack Sharp.
Just over six minutes in, Western Michigan got the game's first power play. After a few chances on net, Michigan would return to full strength.
