KALAMAZOO, Mich. – Western Michigan junior linebacker Treshaun Hayward was named to the Sporting News All-America team, according to an announcement by the organization Tuesday.
This marks the third time in the last four campaigns the Broncos have had at least one All-America pick.
Hayward, from Ypsilanti, Mich., was tabbed the Mid-American Conference Defensive Player of the Year this month. He paces the Broncos in tackles with 132, the second most in the MAC and fifth most nationally. His 10.5 tackles for loss rank tied for 10th in the league while his 5.
