KALAMAZOO, Mich. -- The Western Michigan men's tennis team swept the men's side of the Mid-American Conference (MAC) weekly awards for this week.
Junior Matt Hamilton won the MAC Male Scholar Athlete of the Week while also taking home the MAC Men's Singles Player of the Week. The duo of senior Ruben Greiner and sophomore Daniel Loebel won the MAC Men's Doubles Team of the Week.
Hamilton is a finance major with a 3.98 grade point average and was voted an Academic All-MAC selection and to the Capital One Academic All-District team in 2014.
