KALAMAZOO, Mich. – The Western Michigan gymnastics team had three gymnasts qualify for the NCAA Regionals as individuals it was announced today. Anna Corbett, Rachael Underwood and Jessie Peszek will each be making repeat appearances after qualifying last year. For Corbett and Peszek this marks their third trip to the NCAA Regionals.
Saturday, Underwood set a new WMU record with a 39.325 in the all-around after scoring a 9.800 or higher on all four events. Her day was highlighted by a 9.850 on vault and floor. Her 9.850 on vault was a career-high, good for second in the event.
