KENT, Ohio – The Western Michigan gymnastics team turned in its best performance of the season on Friday night at Kent State, scoring a 193.750. Senior Anna Corbett had her best all-around performance of the year with a 39.000 which included her third straight vault title after scoring a 9.825.
Corbett's 9.825 marked the third straight meet she has improved her score this year, scoring a 9.800 last year after posting a 9.775 in the season opening meet. She shared her vault title with sophomore Rachael Underwood who had a career-high with her 9.
