KALAMAZOO, Mich. – The Western Michigan gymnastics team will begin the first of a three-meet roadtrip on Sunday when it heads to the Lone Star State for a quad meet at Texas Women's University. Along with facing the host TWU, the Broncos will also be up against Penn State and Sacramento State.
The Broncos are coming off their second-best bar routine in program history and the highest at WMU since 2004 after scoring a 49.175 last week vs. Northern Illinois. During the bars routine four gymnasts scored a 9.800 or higher, led by by Jessica Juncaj who posted a career-high 9.
