KALAMAZOO, Mich. – Following a season-opening home victory against Michigan State, the Western Michigan gymnastics program hits the road for the first time this season, traveling to Tucson, Ariz., for the Arizona Quad Meet.
The Broncos will compete against Iowa State, Rutgers and the host Wildcats during Saturday's 5 p.m. event. Saturday's meet will also mark WMU's first trip to Arizona in program history.
Last weekend, WMU opened the campaign with the highest season-opening score in program history, posting a 195.275 versus Michigan State. The Broncos' total score was the 11th highest in the country last weekend.
