Grys Named Great Lakes League POTY; Smith Wins Cape Cod Championship

KALAMAZOO, Mich.- Western Michigan junior outfielder Nate Grys was recently named the Great Lakes Summer League Player of the Year for the Lake Erie Monarchs. Also an all-star selection, Grys led the league with a .400 batting average and was tied for third for both home runs and doubles while ranking fifth overall in RBIs.
