KALAMAZOO, Mich. – Three players on the Western Michigan men’s tennis team claimed weekly awards from the Mid-American Conference (MAC) office this week in senior Ruben Greiner, junior Matt Hamilton and sophomore Maik Steiner.
Greiner, who carries a 3.82 GPA, was named the MAC Male Scholar Athlete of the Week for his work on and off the court. In the last week, he continued his amazing senior season by going 4-0 in singles play while adding a doubles win as the Broncos went 4-0 and started a perfect 2-0 in MAC play.
