Golf Turns in Third-Lowest 54-Hole Score in Program History

YORKTOWN, Ind. – The Western Michigan golf team wrapped up the Brittany Kelly Cardinal Classic, hosted by Ball State at The Players Club, taking third place on Wednesday.

The Broncos combined to shoot a 302 on the day to finish with a 54-hole total of 891 (+14), a new program-best under third-year head coach Kim Moore and the third-lowest in program history. The second round of 290 was the lowest single round since the 2004 Bobcat Desert Classic. Loyola Chicago claimed the top spot with an 879 (+15), followed by runner-up Oakland at 887 (+23).
