LAKEWOOD RANCH, Fla. – After a three-month break, the Western Michigan golf team returns to action on Monday at the Mid-American Conference Match Play Challenge, hosted by Bowling Green at the Lakewood Ranch Golf & Country Club.
WMU is the sixth seed in the tournament and will take on Western Illinois in round one on Monday morning. A win would pit the Broncos against the three-seeded Eastern Michigan Eagles in the afternoon. The semifinals and finals take place on Tuesday. A loss would put WMU into the consolation bracket.
It has been a long time since the Broncos hit the links competitively.
