KALAMAZOO, Mich. – The Western Michigan golf team resumes its season on Monday and Tuesday at the Mid-American Match Play Challenge at Royal Lakes Golf Course in Bradenton, Fla.
The Broncos enter the tournament as the No. 10 seed in the field of 12 teams, nine of which are from the Mid-American Conference. Also joining the field is Morehead State, Illinois State and Western Illinois.
WMU opens the tournament against Toledo, the seventh seed, on Monday morning beginning at 7:50 a.m. If the Broncos are victorious they will play the second-seeded Northern Illinois Huskies in the afternoon.
