KALAMAZOO, Mich. – For the first time since 2019, the Western Michigan track and field team will send multiple athletes to the NCAA East Preliminary Championships.
In total, four Broncos were able to earn their spots in the competition. Kayla Schiera (3K Steeplechase), Sandra Ferrari (Long Jump), Mabinty Kebe (400M Hurdles) and Bri'Yanna Robinson (Shot Put) will compete in Lexington, Ky. on May 23 and 25, looking to earn a spot in the NCAA Championship meet.
Schiera has been a dominant athlete this season, breaking multiple school records and posting various other top-10 times in program history.
