Former Western Michigan commit T.J. Edwards of Wisconsin turns tide with interception

ARLINGTON, Texas - T.J. Edwards ended up rowing the boat, but it came at P.J. Fleck's and the Western Michigan football team's expense.

The former WMU commit made what was arguably the biggest play of the day in Wisconsin's 24-16 victory over the Broncos on Monday afternoon in the Cotton Bowl at AT&T Stadium.

His team clinging to a 17-10 lead early in the fourth quarter, and with momentum on WMU's side, Edwards intercepted Zach Terrell at the Broncos' 12-yard line. Three plays later, Wisconsin tight end Troy Fumagalli caught an 8-yard touchdown pass to restore the Badgers' two-touchdown lead from earlier in the game.
