Harris, who will be a graduate student next season, announced in his post, “I’m happy to announce that I will be playing my last year of eligibility at Western Michigan University while pursuing a masters [sic] degree. Excited to get working with Coach Lester and the rest of the coaching staff for a great year next season. Go Broncos.”
Harris was a heralded recruit coming out of Grand Rapids Christian High School, with almost 3,000 yards receiving and 33 touchdowns in his prep career. That included his junior season in 2013, where he had over 2,000 receiving yards and 23 touchdowns.
