NEW CASTLE, Ind. – Former Western Michigan University men's basketball player Tom Cutter is set to be inducted into the Indiana Basketball Hall of Fame. The Hall of Fame's 2026 class will be inducted in ceremonies next March.
A native of Lafayette, Ind., Cutter starred at Lafayette Central Catholic, racking up more than 1,000 points and 1,000 rebounds during his school career. As a senior, he averaged 22.9 points and 21.6 rebounds to lead the Knights to sectional and regional titles and earned numerous All-State honors.
Following his decorated high school career, Cutter came to Western Michigan, where he played four seasons for the Broncos from 1973-77.
