Former Bronco CB Beal Drafted by Giants in Supplemental Draft

Former Western Michigan University Broncos cornerback Sam Beal was regarded as one of the best players in recent memory to enter the National Football League’s Supplemental Draft. Now he’ll have a chance to prove his worth in the NFL.

On Wednesday, Beal was drafted in the third round of the NFL Supplemental Draft by the New York Giants. It is the highest a player has been taken in the supplemental draft since Cleveland Browns WR Josh Gordon in the second round in 2012.

In drafting Beal, the Giants will forfeit their third round pick in the 2019 NFL Draft.
