Western Michigan football secured its eighth verbal commit of its 2021 class on Friday as Mount Carmel High School wide receiver/cornerback Jaali Parker announced his commitment to the program via his twitter account.

The 6-foot, 185-pound athlete from Chicago held offers from 11 schools, according to Rivals. WMU beat out several other Mid-American Conference schools to secure Parker as he also had offers from Central Michigan, Buffalo, Eastern Michigan, Northern Illinois and Miami (OH).
