Football Finishes Inside Top-20 In AP and Coaches Poll

KALAMAZOO, Mich. – The Western Michigan football team has finished inside the top-20 in both the Associated Press poll and USA Today Amway Coaches poll for the 2016 season. The Broncos were voted No. 15 in the final AP poll and No. 19 in the final Coaches poll.

This year the Broncos finished 13-1, setting a new record for most wins in a season. The team won its first Mid-American Conference Championship since 1988, and earned its first bid to a New Year's Six bowl in program history, playing the University of Wisconsin in the Goodyear Cotton Bowl.
