Football Drops Regular Season Finale at Toledo

Box Score TOLEDO, Ohio – In the final game of the regular season Western Michigan fell to Mid-American Conference West champion Toledo, 37-10, on Friday afternoon inside the Glass Bowl.

WMU ends the regular season with an overall record of 6-6 and is bowl eligible for a program record fourth straight season. The Broncos will learn their bowl fate in the upcoming weeks. With a victory in the bowl game, Western Michigan would earn seven wins for the fourth consecutive year. The Broncos' first ever bowl victory came in 2015 at the Popeyes Bahamas Bowl, defeating Middle Tennessee State, 45-31.
