Fleck updated the media on his ongoing contract talks with the university, saying there is no timetable for a deal to be completed.
“I want to take care of my assistants; I want to take care of Western Michigan University. There are ongoing talks. We’re closer than we were last week,” Fleck said.
“I’m not necessarily worried about that (a contract). We’ve got a job to do. We’ve got the biggest game coming up in program history. We’re going to make sure our players are ready for that,” Fleck said.
Fleck talked about the challenge that will be playing Wisconsin, a team that has only lost to Michigan, Ohio State, and Penn State.
