RIO VERDE, Ariz. -- The Western Michigan golf team wrapped up hosting the 20th annual Rio Verde Invitational at the Rio Verde Country Club's Quail Run Course on Sunday.
The Broncos placed two golfers in the top 25, with graduate student Alissa Fish and freshman Megha Vallabhaneni finishing in an 11-golfer tie for 23rd with a 54-hole score of 227 (+11). Fish finished the tournament with a final round of 77, while Vallabhaneni finished with a 76. Freshman Jenna Hayes was WMU's third finisher, wrapping up with 76 for a three-day total of 231 (+15).
