INDIANAPOLIS – A close back and forth game ended in a 2-1 loss for Western Michigan men's soccer at Butler.
Western Michigan was only seven seconds away from its third point of a season. But a goal from the Butler Bulldogs in the waning moments Friday night instead handed the Broncos a 2-1 loss. WMU's offense continued its double-digit streak with 12 shots while graduate forward Piero Sabroso recorded his first goal as a Bronco. Defender Braxton Arapachinda also picked up his third point of the season with an assist.
"That was a really disappointing result on the road," said Head Coach Chad Wiseman following the match.
