ATHENS, Ohio -- Western Michigan sophomore Sandra Ferrari stole the show on Friday afternoon at the MAC Outdoor Track and Field Championships, winning the long jump and advancing to the final in the 100-meter hurdles. WMU sits in fourth place with 40 points after two days of competition.
Ferrari posted a school-record jump of 6.29 meters, while collecting a 100-meter hurdles time of 13.57. She is the first Bronco to win the long jump championship since Gabby Collins in 2018.
Joining Ferrari in the 100-meter hurdles final will be Mabinty Kebe.
