KALAMAZOO, Mich. – Rising senior defensive end Ali Fayad has been ranked the No. 10 returning edge defender in the country by ESPN.com.
A second team All-Mid-American Conference selection in 2019, Fayad has played in 38 career games (28 starts), recording 107 tackles, 32.5 tackles for lost yardage, 16.5 sacks, eight caused fumbles, three fumble recoveries, one pass breakup and 16 quarterback pressures. He has started the last 25 games and owns 21 games with three or more tackles and seven outings with five or more stops including a career-high seven tackles against Georgia State, Toledo and Northern Illinois in 2019.
