D’Wayne Eskridge Earns MAC West Special Teams Player of the Week Honors

KALAMAZOO, Mich. – The Mid-American Conference announced on Monday that Western Michigan football wide receiver D'Wayne Eskridge has earned MAC West Special Teams Player of the Week honors.

Eskridge had three kick-off returns for 124 yards and returned one for a touchdown in WMU's 30-27 victory over Northern Illinois. Eskridge returned a kick-off 100 yards for a touchdown, the first of his career. His 124 returns yards was a career-high.

It was the eighth 100-yard kick-return for a touchdown in WMU history and the first since Darius Phillips back on Sept. 9, 2017 at Michigan State.
