CLEVELAND – The Mid-American Conference announced on Monday that Western Michigan men's basketball senior center Seth Dugan has been named MAC West Player of the Week.
Dugan in the first two games of the season averaged 21 points and 14.5 rebounds per game. The senior center guided WMU to a split in its first two games, defeating Detroit Mercy before falling to Ole Miss.
The Otsego, Mich., native had a phenomenal start to the season against Detroit Mercy, recording a career-high 32 points and 22 rebounds in an 89-76 victory. Dugan became just the second player in program history to have a 30-point, 20-rebound game and the first to collect at least 20 rebounds since 1994.
