AKRON, Ohio – Western Michigan track and field's Erin Dowd, Tauja Foreman and Juliane Sormain all advanced to the finals in their events as the Broncos wrapped up the first day of the 2020 Indoor Mid-American Conference Championships at the University of Arkon's Stiles Field House on Friday.
Dowd continued to stay hot during the indoor season and ran a personal-best for the third time in the 400-meter dash. This time the senior ran a time of 54.08 to run the second-fastest qualifying time in the event to move on to Saturday.
