BUFFALO, N.Y. -- The Western Michigan cross country team placed sixth at the MAC Championships earlier today, having four runners finish in the top 50.
As she has all season, Lily Overton paced the Broncos. She finished in 19th place with a time of 21:22.5. Following her was Lara Machado Pereira, who crossed the finish line in 29th place with a PR time of 21:38.0.
Kaelin Hughes was one of the top freshman at the meet, earning 32nd place. She posted a time of 21:42.4, which made her the fifth fastest freshman at the event.
