EVANSVILLE, Ind. -- The Western Michigan cross country team recorded a 15th-place finish at the NCAA Great Lakes Regional this morning at the Angel Mounds Cross Country Course. It was the best team finish since claiming 13th in 2022.

As she has all season, Lily Overton paced the team by crossing the finish line in a time of 21:12.90. That was good for 54th place. Lara Machado Pereira wasn't too far behind her, grabbing 82nd place with a time of 21:43.13.

Ava Kurczewski was the next Bronco to finish, as she placed 96th with a PR time of 21:51.
