Corey Davis has missed all preseason, but Titans optimistic for Week 1

Corey Davis hasn't had the chance to show what made him worth of the fifth overall pick in April's NFL draft.

The former Western Michigan wide receiver has missed the entire preseason for the Tennessee Titans after suffering a hamstring injury early in camp. He went through a walkthrough Monday, but appears unlikely to play in the team's preseason finale Thursday.

There appears to be some optimism he'll be ready for Week 1, Sept. 10 against the Oakland Raiders.

Tennessee coach Mike Mularkey said Monday the team will not rush Davis back to a full workload once he returns.
