On Jan. 2, 2017, the Western Michigan University football program will gear up in Arlington, TX, as they look to take down the University of Wisconsin Badgers in the Goodyear Cotton Bowl as one of this season’s New Year’s Six games.
The Broncos earned the bid by winning out their schedule and finishing the season with a 13-0 record after defeating Ohio University in the Mid-American Conference championship game. The Badgers road the Goodyear Cotton Bowl came after losing to Penn State University 38-30 in the Big Ten Championship to end their regular season at 10-3.
