CLEVELAND – Western Michigan seniors Logan Case (Setter) and Andelyn Simkins (Defensive) were named MAC West Players of the Week for the final contests of the regular season.
Case fueled the Western Michigan offense on Wednesday night at NIU as she handed out 38 assists (12.67/set). The senior also chipped in seven digs (2.67/set) and served up a pair of aces (0.67/set), as the Broncos topped the Huskies in straight sets to finish 18-0 in MAC play.
On the defensive side of things, Simkins racked up 19 digs (6.33/set) and went a perfect 15-for-15 on serve receive in Wednesday night's win.
