CLEVELAND – On the heels of a career night on Saturday, Western Michigan senior middle blocker Mary Clare Brusek has been named the MAC Offensive Player of the Week, the league office announced on Monday. It marks the fourth weekly honor for the Broncos this season.
Brusek made it 11 straight matches with double-digit kills during the weekend series against Bowling Green, totaling 38 on a .378 hitting percentage and accumulating a total of 44.0 points (4.40/set). The senior paced the Bronco attack in both victories over the Falcons, starting with 15 kills and six blocks (1 solo, 5 assists) for a total of 18.
