Career high from Emilien not enough as WMU men's basketball losing streak continues

Western Michigan men's basketball (6-16, 0-9) lost their ninth consecutive game on Tuesday night, dropping their second game of Feb. 85-72 to Bowling Green (16-6, 8-1).

While the Broncos haven't seen a win since 2018, (Dec. 30 vs. UC Riverside) Bowling Green has been proving to be a formidable MAC contender. With their 92-88 win over MAC favorite Buffalo, they secured the top spot in the MAC East and now control their own destiny en route to a regular season MAC title.

While some predicted the Tuesday night contest against a struggling WMU team could be a trap game for Bowling Green, they weathered the Broncos runs with runs of their own, holding onto a decent lead for most of the game.
