Western Michigan senior midfielder Brandon Bye has been named Mid-American Conference Player of the Week and was selected to the TopDrawerSoccer Team of the Week.

Bye also was named National Player of the Week by College Soccer News earlier this week. Bye led the Broncos to three wins this week, recording a goal in each game (including two game-winners) and adding an assist for seven points on the week. In WMU's 2-0 win over Cincinnati, Bye scored the game-winning goal in the 14th minute and then assisted the Broncos' insurance goal in the 75th minute.
