KALAMAZOO, MI — Buster Bronco debuted his new look at Saturday's Western Michigan University football game against Idaho at Waldo Stadium. Some fans love the new, more pumped-up Buster. Others have called for a return to the last Buster (at least one Buster fan has created a change.org petition).
The latest makeover was not Buster's first. Since students first named a "Buster" in 1981 to when the athletic department formally adopted him in 1988, there have been many versions of Buster through the years. Scroll below to see how Buster's look has changed since the 1980s.
