Broncos Win Second Straight at SEMO

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. – The Western Michigan gymnastics team defeated Southeast Missouri 192.425-191.650 on Friday night and are now on a two-meet winning streak. The Broncos improve to 3-1 overall and will head back to Kalamazoo to host Mid-American Conference opponent Kent State on Sunday, Feb. 11 at 1 p.m.

As a team the Broncos took the vault and beam in unfamiliar territory while junior Rachael Underwood led the Brown & Gold in two events, taking first and second on the balance beam and vault. Sophomore Amelia Mohler took first on the bars while senior Jessica Juncaj and freshman Morgan Spence led WMU on the floor.
