The Bronco offense was the big story of the match, hitting an outstanding .324 for the match, a season-high for the team. The defense was also on point, holding the Grizzlies to a .129 hitting percentage on the night, along with a team total of 51 digs and five blocks.
The Broncos started the first set strong, leading 5-2 early on, helped by kills from sophomore middle blocker Quiana Ware and freshman middle blocker Cassandra Smigiel. The Grizzlies would battle back to tie up the set at nine apiece, but another 5-2 run, along with two more kills from Ware, brought the score to 14-11 Broncos.
