The Western Michigan Broncos closed out 2018 as they came out on top against Minnesota Duluth in both games to knock off a top five opponent.
The Broncos are looking like the hottest team in the NCHC and one of the hottest programs in the NCAA. Even though the game ended in a tie, they still gained the edge in points against Duluth.
The second game was even more of an exhilarating thrill as the Broncos fought the Bulldogs all the way to a shootout.
Both teams played with great physicality as WMU and UMD had their fair share of devastating blows and emotion.
