KALAMAZOO, Mich. – The Western Michigan hockey team completed its sweep of Colorado College after a 3-0 win at Lawson Ice Arena on Saturday night.
The 12th ranked Broncos picked up goals from Sheldon Dries, Griffen Molino and Aaron Hadley, while freshman goalie Ben Blacker made 25 saves to earn his third shutout of the season. WMU outshot CC 31-25 on the night and kept the Tigers scoreless on seven power plays.
Western Michigan took an early 1-0 lead on Sheldon Dries' second goal of the weekend at 9:04 in the first period.
